About the event
Living in Liberty is pleased to announce the first-ever Liberty Lift-Off Hot Air Balloon Festival (weather permitting) on Friday evening, October 1st at 5:15 pm ET and Saturday, October 2nd at 7:30 am and 5:30 pm launch times from Liberty Park in Liberty Township, Powell, Ohio.   The event will have over 10 hot air balloon teams launching flights over Liberty Township and beyond. All flight times are subject to weather conditions and pilots are FAA certified balloon pilots.  There will be balloon rides available during the times with balloons carrying between 1 and 3 passengers depending on the specific balloons’ capacity. Balloon rides will be $250.00 per passage per flight.  All residents are invited to come to Liberty Park to celebrate the simultaneous launch.
